Mr. Ross is originally from Scotland, he started playing golf at Haddington Golf Club in East Lothian near Edinburgh at the age of 10.

In 2002 he was awarded the Graduate Diploma in Golf Course Architecture from the European Institute of Golf Course Architects in 2002.

David is also PGA Class ‘A’ Professional and also holds an MBA in Golf and Country Club Management from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh. He also is a Diploma Member of the Institute of Sport and Recreation Management and he is both fluent in Spanish and Italian.

His all round experience is key during the design phases as he understand the economics and operational needs of a golf course design.

He has spent the last 15 years working specifically in Mexico and Latin America.

Since the formation of Ross Golf Design, David has brought together team of specialists in design, land planning and construction to provide their expertise for golf and real estate developments worldwide.

David is based in Monterrey, Mexico and Ross Golf Design also has satellite offices on 5 continents.
